Tips for Tuesday: Your Space!

Filed under: Ground Up Work,Tips For Tuesday — Lana @ 10:57 AM 11/01/2011

We have been thinking, it might be time for ‘Tips for Tuesday’ to step it up a bit. Seriously right? we haven’t posted one in a LONG LONG time (Sorry, we got distracted having fun with other stuff). So, over the next couple months, we’re expanding our Tips for Tuesday blog series to become a bit more specific and helpful to you. What does that mean? Basically, we want to give you tips on your design issues – what can you do to improve your – restaurant, storefront, apartment, back-yard, bathroom, small design project, etc.?

The Giveaway: Every week, from Tuesday to Friday, you can post a picture of your space (or any other design issue you’re dealing with) on our facebook page – at the end of the week we’ll pick our favorite submission and do a custom made Tips-for-Tuesday blog post specifically for you the following Tuesday. Your post will feature a couple tips, sketches, and diagrams on ways to improve your space — nothing too serious but hopefully a little helpful!

If you just can’t decide what to do with your living room, we might be able to open your eyes to some possibilities! If you just moved into a new place this could be epic fun!

Below is Ground Up Designers’ most meta Tips for Tuesday yet – hahaha

Tips-for-Tuesday: Getting featured on “T4T: Your Space”

  1. Become a fan of our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter - What are you waiting for? Like us and Follow us!.
  2. Tell people about the giveaway - If we notice your doing some extra promotion for us (sharing or re-tweeting our posts) your chances might go up. Yes, ::ahem:: we are OK with shameless self promotion ;)
  3. Please don’t ask for construction advise – Yes, we’re in architecture, but that’s not what this is for. The more design oriented the question, the better.
  4. Challenge us! - We love a good challenge!
  5. Submit high quality images – we are suckers for nice photos. Who isn’t really? Additionally, feel free to submit more than one image of your design issue – just make it clear that you did, so we don’t get confused.
  6. Try again next week - Feel free to submit as many times as you want.

Anyway, without getting too carried away here with my weird meta t4t post…. give us a ‘like’, tell your friends, and submit your images! We’re really excited to see what you want help with!!
